In early 2016, Google Play Music asked FilterlessCo to create a social content campaign for their creative collaboration with NYC-based Milk Studios. The collaborative sessions take place on a monthly basis and are designed to introduce upcoming musical talent by leaning heavy on individual personality and “behind-the-scenes” content. New artists for #GooglePlayxMilk include singer-songwriter Empress Of, sunny pop-rapper Super Duper Kyle, and LA punks White Lung.

To deliver on the creative direction, FilterlessCo’s Ryan Muir took an editorial approach, following the artists throughout their entire day from makeup to breakdown. He captured candid, in-the-moment imagery that let people into the musician’s world while feeling inherently social. You couldn’t help but want to share it.
