Patrick J. Clifton is a writer, based in Los Angeles.

Patrick’s most recent feature film, FREAK SHOW, debuted at Berlin and Outfest. It was directed by Trudie Styler, produced by Flower Films, starring Bette Midler. IFC is distributing.

He is currently writing a dark, ½ hour comedy called EAT ME for SuperDeluxe with Will Arnett producing; an updated take of Sweeney Todd set in the Chicago restaurant scene; and developing a new half-hour with Drew Barrymore and Queen Latifah.

His copywriting work extends to AXE for R/GA, FX Networks, Levis Strauss.

Before working in advertising and film, Patrick was a public relations writer in New York.  His written work has appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Associated Press, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and others.
